Call for Tutorials PDF Print E-mail

In addition to the regular research and workshop program, FIS2010 aims to feature a tutorial program that complements the main conference by providing state-of-the-art background material and addresses the interests of practitioners that wish to learn new technologies. Tutorials may be either for a full day or a half day, and should cover topics related to the Future Internet. We encourage organizers to incorporate hands-on sessions where appropriate.

Tutorial Organization

Upon acceptance the tutorial organizers will be responsible for

  • producing a "Call for Participation" for the tutorial
  • producing and distributing all technical material to be used for teaching the tutorial (slides, notes, technical papers, software, etc.)
  • preparing and maintaing a Web site that describes the tutorial and includes all relevant information (URL to be submitted to the tutorial chairs no later than July 5, 2010)

The FIS2009 Organizing Committee will support the tutorial organizers by

  • providing publicity for the tutorial on the conference's Web page and through additional dissemination channels
  • providing logistics facilities for the tutorial at the conference venue including hardcopies of the tutorial slides
