NoTube is the first project to focus on TV content as a medium for personalized interaction.The overall result of this project will be twofold:

  • Architecture, Services and Models for Personalized Access of TV Content
  • Three showcase implementations that demonstrate the use of this architecture to realize challenging use cases with different combinations of NoTube services and models.




Service Oriented Architectures for All (SOA4All) is a Large-Scale Integrating Project funded by the European Seventh Framework Programme, under the Service and Software Architectures, Infrastructures and Engineering research area.
SOA4All aims at realizing a world where billions of parties are exposing and consuming services via advanced Web technology: the main objective of the project is to provide a comprehensive framework that integrates complementary and evolutionary technical advances (i.e., SOA, context management, Web principles, Web 2.0 and semantic technologies) into a coherent and domain-independent service delivery platform.



KITKIT bundles the missions of both precursory institutions: A university of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg with teaching and research tasks and a large-scale research institution of the Helmholtz Association conducting program-oriented provident research on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. Within these missions, KIT is operating along the three strategic fields of action of research, teaching, and innovation.


seekda Seekda GmbH is an Austrian spin-off company of the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI Innsbruck) at the University of Innsbruck. seekda was built on the results of the European Union funded DIP, and Austrian FIT-IT (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH) RW2  projects. The corporate headquarter is located in Innsbruck, Austria. seekda developed the first global Web Service Search Engine based on focused crawling, allowing access to publicly available Web Services and currently indexes and monitors over 27K Web Services from over 7K service providers.

sofiThe goal of SOFI is to complement EU R&D projects in the area of Internet of Services, Software and Virtualisation (Objective 1.2) through specific support activities. SOFI aims to ensure the position of European research as a leader in the definition and realisation of the theoretical and technological foundations of the Future Internet of Services, as well as European industry's competitive advantage in the creation of value and new opportunities from its use.  SOFI will build upon and complement the current efforts around the Future Internet Assembly, and particularly the service related working groups, most specifically the Future Internet Service Offer WG (FISO).
